is pleased to announce the recent
recruitment and appointment of the
following:
Dr. Chris Evans
Chris joins us as a Technical
Director. Previously with May Gurney, he
is a specialist in Geotechnical and
Geo-Environmental Engineering design and
assessment. Chris is a leading UK expert
in soil mix technologies and has written
numerous published papers on the subject.
He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of
the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Kelvin Hughes
Kelvin is a geoscientist with 18 years
experience in consultancy, working on
geo-environmental investigations,
hydrogeology, EIA's and environmental
audit. He joins us from Parsons
Brinckerhoff where he was responsible for
their brownfield redevelopment business
and is experienced in dealing with MNC
clients. Prior to that he worked for
Waterman Environmental and before that for
Stanger.
Kelvin will take the project directing
role for our brownfield SI and remediation
opportunities carried out through the
Manchester office. Kelvin is one of the
few consultants in the UK registered as a
Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC).
Greg Jones
Greg joins us from the Woodford Group.
Greg is a SiLC and has been appointed as
Technical Director in support of the
Development team. Greg has designed and
implemented major contaminated land
earthworks and waste management schemes.
He is a specialist in the provision of
process based soil and groundwater
remediation solutions. His a member of the
Chartered Institute of Water and
Environmental Management, a Chartered
Scientist and Incorporated Engineer.
Paul Jacobs
Paul joins us as a Projects Director
from Fugro. Paul has over 26 years
Geotechnical and Site Assessment
experience both in the UK and the rest of
the world. He has given many invited
lectures on the use and application of
available technology and best practice in
Geotechnical as well as Environmental Site
Assessment. He is a Chartered Engineer and
a Member of the Institution of Civil
Engineers and has sat on the AGS
Contaminated Land Working Group.
Don Bradley (Principal)
Don has over 20 years experience in
Environmental Geochemistry including Soil
and Landfill Gas Monitoring, with
particular experience in odours from
landfill gas and waste management
facilities.
Don spent many years with the British
Geological Survey, before leaving to
undertake research into Landfill Gas at
Nottingham University. He
subsequently moved into consultancy and
joins ARCADIS GMI Ltd from Golder
Associates. As Operations Manager in the
Ground Gas and Air Quality Group he
managed and reviewed over 50 Landfill Gas
Risk Assessments for successful Landfill
PPC permit applications.
