Prior to that he worked for Waterman Environmental and before that for Stanger.

Kelvin will take the project directing role for our brownfield SI and remediation opportunities carried out through the Manchester office

SiLC

Kelvin is one of the few consultants in the UK registered as a Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC). In 1999, the Urban Task Force in its report 'Towards An Urban Renaissance' recommended the introduction of standardised documentation that describes the condition of land.
This was to provide greater certainty and consistency in handling information relating to the management, sale and development of land. The Professional and Technical Panel formed devised the Land Condition Record (LCR) and, to give the highest level of credibility to the information that is included in the LCR , it should be validated by a registered SiLC.
In order to maintain standards the process of SiLC registration involves the production of professional reports, written examinations and professional interviews by existing registered SiLCs.  A SiLC's involvement in the assessment of land condition will provide quality assurance, aimed at building confidence with all parties and provide industry wide standards.
