Quality Management ISO 9001:2000 and
Environmental Management ISO 14001:2004

Arcadis GMI is one of only a very few environmental consultancies, globally, to have Quality Management, Environmental Management and Health and Safety Management Systems externally certified to the relevant international standards.

The Quality Management ISO 9001:2000 accreditation is valid for the following service ranges:
The provision of environmental and engineering services (to a wide range of industry sectors) including: Environmental audit - Environmental compliance assurance - Site assessment - Risk assessment - Environmental monitoring - Remediation - Decommissioning - Environmental emergency response - Environmental management system implementation and training.

The Environmental Management ISO 14001:1996 accreditation is valid for all activities related to:
The management of significant environmental aspects and impacts associated with the provision of environmental and engineering services (to a wide range of industry sectors) including: Environmental audit - Environmental compliance assurance - Site assessment - Risk assessment - Environmental monitoring - Remediation - Decommissioning - Environmental emergency response - Environmental management system implementation and training.

This significant development in the external audit and validation of Arcadis GMI’s services to clients, and of the ‘back office’ operations which support them, allows our clients to be even further assured as to the quality, consistency and environmental probity of the work which we undertake for them.
For example, Arcadis GMI is one of a few companies offering global environmental legal compliance and Environmental Management System (EMS) services which is itself externally audited and certified in these areas.
