Manager to take the lead on a
construction programme of multi million
pound building, demolition and related
civils contracts, for a multinational
client. The successful candidate will be
mainly site based for an initial period
of up to 2 years in
the Slough/Reading area and be employed on
a contract or permanent basis, with effect
from July 2008.

Requirements
- Degree in relevant discipline
- Chartered Engineer status
- >8 years relevant experience
- Understanding of engineering and
operational constraints
- Must be able to demonstrate technical,
commercial and contractual awareness
- Must have acted in the role of Project
Manager under the NEC form of construction
contract
- Prepared to travel within the UK
Responsibilities
- Project management
of construction programme including
demolition, building and related civils
- Assist in the development of project
management protocols
- Act as the Employers Agent
- Manage delivery of the programme
to safety, cost, quality and time
requirements in the
contracts
- Client liaison drawing upon the
knowledge of on-site operational engineers
- Plan, engage and manage support
resources eg. supervisor and cost
management
- Future development of this service
